Download FileMaker
To start, you will need to download FileMaker Pro 2025 and the License Certificate. If you need assistance, you can watch our Installing FileMaker help video here:
To download FileMaker Pro, you will need your License Key
- Your license key will be available in your Account Center under your subscription details.
Log in to the Account Center
• Navigate to the TradeSchool Account Center login page
https://account-center.tradeschoolinc.com/login
• Enter your credentials and sign in
Locate your Subscription Information
• Once logged in, look at the left-hand menu. Select “Subscription Information”
Or scroll down the page until you see your subscription details.
• Find and click “Install FileMaker Pro.”
This will take you to the Claris Electronic Software Download Page.
Download FileMaker
• On the Claris download page, click the large blue “Download” link.
• Scroll down to find FileMaker Pro 2025.
Under Product Installers Choose your operating system from the left:
- Mac
- Windows
Once the download is complete, open the FMP (FileMaker Pro) file from your downloads and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
Once downloaded, FileMaker Pro will appear on your desktop. Click into the application.
FileMaker Pro 2025 looks like this:
Add Host
Directions:
- Open FileMaker.
- Go to the Favorites tab on the left.
- Click the + Add App option
- Select From Hosts.
- In the top-left corner, click the small + icon.

Enter the following information in the fields that appear:
- Host's Internet Address: [TradeSchool Team will provide]
- Favorite Host Name: [Put YOUR Training Center’s name here]
- Click Save.
- On the next screen, select the icon labeled TradeSchool. Be sure to choose the one labeled TradeSchool, even if other options appear.
