☁️ TradeSchool Cloud Connection

Your TradeSchool database has been successfully moved to the Cloud hosting infrastructure.

To connect to your database, you must follow these instructions or watch the help video:

You’ll need to install the latest version of FileMaker before connecting to the cloud. For step-by-step guidance, please watch the help video below:

To download FileMaker Pro, you will need your License Key

Your license key will be available in your Account Center under your subscription details.

Log in to the Account Center

• Navigate to the TradeSchool Account Center login page

• Enter your credentials and sign in

Locate your Subscription Information

• Once logged in, look at the left-hand menu. Select “Subscription Information”
Or scroll down the page until you see your subscription details.

• Find and click “Install FileMaker Pro.”

This will take you to the Claris Electronic Software Download Page.

Download FileMaker

• On the Claris download page, click the large blue “Download” link.

• Scroll down to find FileMaker Pro 2025.

Under Product Installers Choose your operating system from the left:

Mac
Windows

Once the download is complete, open the FMP (FileMaker Pro) file from your downloads and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.

Once downloaded, FileMaker Pro will appear on your desktop. Click into the application.

Add the New Favorite

In the Favorites dialog, click Add App and select From Hosts.

Under the ⭐️ Favorites section right-click on any favorites and select Remove.

At the top of the list on the left select the + icon located next to 🔍 Search Hosts.

This is what you will type in for each of those fields:

Host's internet address: [TradeSchool Team will provide]

Favorite Host Name: [Put YOUR Training Centers name here]

Click Save. When the login prompt appears click Cancel.

Click on the document icon in top right of the window (it has 3 dots in the middle).

Enter the Network File Path: [TradeSchool Team will provide]
Select OK.

This will add the shortcut in your Favorites that you can click on every time you open FileMaker Pro to access your TradeSchool database.
